Limerick

There once was a big fat dog
He took a walk in the bog
But when he got there,
He saw a great bear
He ran and tripped over a log.

There once was a man from space
He found a big silver case
He brought it to his home,
and out came a gnome
And it punched him square in the face.

Haiku

The huge glassy wave
Crashing, frightening, deadly
bringing disaster

Its tall  and cone shaped
Its leaves stay green all year long
It is never bare

Zorbon

One day, my friend and I landed on a stange unknown planet. The soil was as green as grass, but there was not any grass. The rocks and stones were as blue as the sky on earth. The sky and water were as red as blood. We were standing on a giant mountain, and we could see for miles upon miles. There were not many cities on Zorbon, just smal lvilliages scattered everywhere. All of the Zorbonians were barbarians. They were also twice the size of humans.

Picture Story: Archie Smith, Boy Wonder

The gloomy lights had followed him back to his house from the woods. They had found an open window and it happened to be his room.
A tiny voice asked, "Is he the one?"
They examined the dark haired boy sleeping in his fluffy bed.
"That is definitely him," spoke another tiny voice.
"Should we take him now?" Said the first voice slowly advancing.
"No!" said the second voice loudly, "We will take him tomorrow night. Let him prepare for what is about to happen. They slowly floated away into the dark misty night.

Picture Story: The Harp

He was walking through the green, lush forest thinking to himself as he stumbled into a river surrounded by ancient trees. The river seemed very magical, flowing as if it were glass. Then all of a sudden he looked up to find what he had been looking for all of these years. It was a wooden harp sitting on a rock. It was painted gold, gleaming in the sunlight. So it's true he thought, it's really true.

flash fiction

"I am a police officer and I am searching the houses in the run down part of town for drugs. I found a cellar door open with traces of drugs on it. I went into the cellar and heard some foot steps scuffling around. The sound was coming from behind a closed door, when all of a sudden the door slowly opened...."

Iowa Funeral

A couple days ago (the 19th of September) my family and I drove to Iowa for my great grandpa's funeral. We stayed in a hotel with my family and cousins and uncles and aunts etc. We had a fun time at the hotel but it was a sad reason for us to gather there in Iowa.
During the last day I was there one of my uncles and I got sick. It took about eleven hours for us to drive to Iowa and eleven to drive back; it was a long trip for us. We were very tired when we got back. Oh, and one more thing... <(*.*)>
